The Cube

Oggy finds a simple cube sitting in front of his house. He becomes hypnotized by the cube and takes it inside. The cube gets bigger and bigger and starts to invade Oggy’s life. Oggy can’t seem to live without it. Olivia and Jack try to reason with him.

Plot[]

Oggy was outside his home, relaxing. At the same time, he finds a small, green cube. Intrigued, Oggy took it inside his home, and placed it on his table, where a vase once sat. Eventually, he becomes fixated on the box, and the next day, he discovers it has grown bigger. He then goes to his kitchen to get some chocolate for himself, oblivious to the Cockroaches inside. The three follow Oggy, and find the cube. While Oggy leaves for a while, the Cockroaches decide to check the cube. Marky notices his wobbly and distorted reflection, while Dee Dee lays his finger on the cube, causing it to vibrate. This causes a noise so shrill and loud, the Roaches' brains pop. Annoyed, the Roaches decide to steal the cube. But when Oggy returns, he spots them trying to swipe his "friend", so he furiously swats them and gets rid of them.

The next day, Oggy takes the cube out for a walk on a leash, all the while, the cube grows bigger. Bob finds Oggy's "pet" unnatural, so he laughs at them. Angry with Bob's mockery, Oggy vibrates the cube, causing Bob to go boom-boom. They eventually return, and Oggy, still fixated on his cube, continues eating more chocolate as the cube grows to a gigantic size. At this point, Oggy is drunkenly fixated on the cube, and addicted to chocolate. However, he soon gets startled when the doorbell rings. He looks out the window, seeing Olivia beckoning him to go out with him. Abruptly, the cat refuses, causing Olivia to well up with sorrow. But she turns around to see the Cockroaches laughing loudly and mocking Olivia by eating all of Oggy's food. Enraged, she turns to Jack for help.

Jack is in his jacuzzi, which has been switched on and is bubbling. Olivia interrupts this by switching it off. She then proceeded to explain everything about Oggy's queer behavior, and the Cockroaches stealing from Oggy, without the latter even doing something about it. , she finishes upon recklessly switching on Jack's jacuzzi. At first, Jack finds Olivia's story funny and thus laughs, to which Olivia shot the former a frown of disgust. As a result, Jack swallowed his laughter, and got serious. He stepped out of the water, leaving in panties. He then broke into Oggy's turf. Oggy was happy to see Jack, but the latter pushed Oggy away, and vainfully attempted to move the cube. But Oggy vigorously stopped his cousin from doing so, showing extreme compassion towards his boxed friend. Furious, Oggy scowled and made the cube vibrate to the extent Jack's fur was shredded. Embarrassed, he ran away completely nude, while Olivia watched him in concern.

Later that day, Olivia tried to patch Jack with his fur, at her home. Suddenly, Jack had his eureka moment - he came up with a plan to dispose of Oggy's cube, while keeping Oggy at bay, and avoiding the shrill vibrations. Olivia went to Oggy's home, and laid out a trail of chocolates to divert the latter away. Jack arrived some time later, with a forklift. For extreme measure, he grabbed the cockroaches and plugged his ears with them to stay resistant to the cube's vibrations. Finally, after Oggy was expelled from his home, Jack backed up the forklift, and picked up the cube, and crashed out to get rid of the cube. Seeing this, Oggy panicked, but Olivia pacifies him by kissing him on the lips. Eventually, Jack takes the cube to the scrapheap, and crushes it to a tiny size, making it a perfect keychain.

The next morning, Oggy finds a sphere outside his home, and laid his finger on it.

Trivia[]

Oggy eats a lot of chocolate in this episode, but chocolate is toxic for feline consumption.
- However, Oggy is still anthropomorphic, so this can be excused.
This is the first episode since Season 3 to not have the text "© {year} Xilam Animation" in the title card.
