Unbeknownst to him, Oggy has just bought a box of special biscuits. Whoever eats them becomes a real gossip. Dee Dee and Jack gobble up the whole package and just won't shut up! But so much gabbing turns into a lively screaming session.

Official Synopsis, [1]

Chatter Box is the 77th episode of Season 2, and was remade as the seventy-fourth episode for Season 7 under the title Blah Blah Blah.

Plot[]

Oggy is strolling in the supermarket. After he bought so many groceries, he sees an unusual biscuit, and a new one at least. So he got the biscuit box, and read the instructions, but he didn't understand them. So he bought it also, and tried it at the house. Oggy takes a tiny piece of the biscuit and eats it, but due to this, he was unable to speak under the effect.

Meanwhile, Marky and Joey are eating uncooked corned beef in an tin can while Dee Dee observes the biscuits. He takes one out of the box and eats the whole piece. He begins speaking gibberish a few seconds later. Amazed, he wants to tell his brothers about this. He climbs up in the tin can and talks to his brothers, who weren't surprised by whatever he's saying. Joey and Marky put some corned beef in their ears. While still barely hear him, they try silencing Dee Dee by first pushing him down to the corned beef. However, Dee Dee rises up again from the pile of beef and complains to them. An unamused Marky then throws a ball of beef to Dee Dee, but he gobbles down the ball and compliments the amazing taste of the beef. Joey and Marky, now totally annoyed by Dee Dee's rather irritating speech, then beat him up.

In the next scene, Oggy was about to go to the toilet, but he noticed that Dee Dee was in there first while reading the newspaper. Dee Dee notices Oggy and starts talking to him about what he read in the newspaper. Oggy can't understand this, so he smacks and flushes Dee Dee down the toilet.

Afterwards, he starts mumbling to a mouse, who gets annoyed and beats him up with his cheese and left back to his mouse hole, and to a bobble-headed dog (which nothing happens), before speaking back to Joey and Marky again, this time, in the fridge as well as the pickle. Again, they got irritated, so they beat him up again and leave the fridge with the food they brought. Jack came to the refrigerator and saw Dee Dee in the jar. He opens it and grabs Dee Dee, who starts talking to Jack. He also can't understand it, so he grabs his tongue and spins it around so he doesn't speak and throws him back in the freezer. Afterwards, Jack sees the same biscuit and takes one, also eating it whole.

While noticing Oggy meditating, Jack loudly greets him ("Eh, Oggy!"), causing Oggy to fall down flat. While Jack talks to him, Oggy tells Jack to turn around and leaves the scene. Jack mumbled about Oggy and looked through the window, watching Bob riding on the swing and talking to him. Annoyed, Bob beats up Jack and throws him to Oggy's house, making his head stuck into the fridge. When Dee Dee comes out, still strangled by his tongue, Jack noticed him and greets him as he untangles the orange roach. Then Dee Dee and Jack communicate with each other overnight. Jack then asks Dee Dee if he had a fun idea and they began to dance and sing.

Oggy, walking off to bed and yawning, heard the noise and went into the kitchen, spotting Jack and Dee Dee talking. Jack and Dee Dee, now in an argument, realize that they are enemies. One they finished, Jack smacks Dee Dee in the head and laughs before storming off. Oggy, seeing what had occurred, looks at the biscuit box again. Marky and Joey found Dee Dee and they carry him out and run out the door with Oggy after Joey told him to erase the biscuits with a dynamite.

While the biscuit box burst, the resulting sludge from it spreads around the kitchen, causing the entirety of it to start talking in the end.

Trivia[]

  • In the remake, when Oggy eats the biscuit, he speaks like one in the original, along with a cough.
  • This is the last episode to view Jack, Bob, Oggy's home and every outsider in original cartoony style.
  • In the remake, when the episode is about to end, the creators forgot to iris out the trash can, even though it talks.
